We're “Nejen Bistro” (in English - Not Just a Bistro).
We are not just a bistro.
You may ask why not just.
Well, then - maybe that's why...
attributes (in alphabetical order) of what we are trying to be, it can be like this:
We are simply meticulous in selection of our ingredients. Nothing more and nothing less.
· ORIGINALITY. Everything has already been invented, but we believe that you will find specialities that you simply can't find elsewhere. For example, a "collection" of our flavoured gins or gins in "mixers”.
Figuratively, because we watch what's going on around us, but also literally, thanks to our maximally light interior.
The proof is our (untraditional) library full of flavour and colour.
Weekly and regular menus, tasting events including wine pairings, mixed drinks usual and unusual, the occasional (hopefully pleasant) surprise for everyone...
Wild garlic or asparagus in the spring, strawberries or salads in the summer, pumpkins or Beaujolais in the autumn, goose or cooked pig's jowl in the winter... Can it be like this?
Come, be seated and order. Leave the rest to us. We hope you'll be happy to come back.
If you are missing something, we would be pleased to hear it from you. Maybe on social media or by email, but the best thing is if you take the time to come and see us at Karlínské náměstí in Prague 8.
What else to add? Vegetarians and vegans will also find something to their liking in our offer. Dogs (but also iguanas and other pets) are welcome. On tap we have carefully treated beer from the movie Postřižiny – beer from Dalešice. In the summer months you can use our outdoor seating. We are looking forward to you. Come and see and taste yourselves.
